Community Music Workshops

Community Music workshops are oriented to create and enhance those social connections founded among neighbours, family, and friends located inside our community.

With the use of musical activities, participants will be immersed in a musical context, where interaction and motivation will be keys to convert everyone's experience into a positive outcome.

These kind of community activities are frequently the start of healthy friendships and connections between people.

Making music in a social context is important. The creation of links between the learning experience, and the communication process will create new connections, that will enhance the learner to acquire an Identity.

Children's learning and development are enhanced when culturally appropriate ways of communicating are used (music in this particular case); and when parents, whānau, and the community are encouraged to participate in and contribute towards a better overall experience.
